I am excited to announce that we are recruiting current 6th and 7th grade students for next year's AVID elective classes.

The deadline to apply and submit recommendations is March 27, 2026.

What is AVID Elective?

AVID is a college‑readiness program designed to help students develop the skills, habits, and mindset needed to succeed in middle school, high school, and beyond.

AVID QUALIFICATIONS

Typically AVID students usually meet the following qualifications:

Self-motivated
2.0-3.5 GPA
College potential with support
Appropriate classroom behavior
Good attendance record
Good work habits

All students must complete the application form and have two letters of recommendation submitted to be considered. The deadline to apply and submit recommendations is March 27, 2026.
